Gael Duff is a proud Gamilaroi woman and currently serves as the National First Nations Program Manager at Transurban. She is dedicated to fostering equitable access to social mobility, employment, and business opportunities for First Nations peoples. Gael plays a crucial role in driving Transurban’s First Nations Employment Strategy, which aims to increase the representation of First Nations employees across the company’s Australian workforce.
Before her current role, Gael held several significant positions. She worked as a Procurement Manager for a Global Engineering Company, where she optimised procurement processes and managed key supplier relationships. Additionally, she served as the inaugural National Indigenous Affairs Manager at Kmart and Target, where she managed key supplier relationships and led the introduction of the very first full range of Indigenous products into Kmart, as well as swimwear and sleepwear in Target. Gael consistently focuses on promoting cultural understanding and inclusion in all the companies she works with.
